Covid 19 Rules & Regulations:

Due to Covid 19 Rules & Regulations set in place by our Government and our Governing Body SAFBAF. All Protocols, Rulesand Regulations need to be adhere to at all times.

Anglers must adhere to the following:

 NO GATHERING ALLOWED
Anglers are not allowed to gather before
the start, during
or at the end of the competition.
Anglers to proceed directly to Peg.
Keep a 2m Distance from fellow Anglers

Sanitizing of Hands
Wearing of Masks
( Only During Competition – you are allowed to remove your mask. )
Complete all Covid 19 Documents before 
the Start of the Competition.

Anglers will be notified the day before the competition of their allocated Sector and Peg number This will be done via our Social Media Platforms.

All Anglers will be Covid-19 Screened at the Entrance
(Drive
Thru Style) or at a suitable place deemed fit by the
Compliance Officer.
( This will be communicated via TPSA Competition Whats-app group )

an Electronic Covid-19 Medical Screening Document will be circulated via
the TPSA Competition Whats-app group and must be completed before
the start of 
the Competition.

At Weigh-in:
Please adhere to the Guidelines and Instructions of the Weigh-in Official.
No Gathering at the Weighin – Only Weigh Master and Angler allowed.

NON COMPLIANCE:

ANGLERS THAT DOES NOT ADHERE OR COMPLY TO THE ABOVE RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE COMPETITION AREA AND WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE EVENT.

using Payfast Payment Gateway.

Development Angling Registration
Total : R 80.00 Per Angler per Day.

Competitive Angling Registration
Venue : R 140.00 ( 2 Days )

Competition Fee : R 120.00 (Used for Prize Money )
Admin Fee : R 20.00
Jackpot – Kitty : R 20.00 ( Towards Final Jackpot )
Total : R 300.00 Per Angler

Sectors will always be filled from the first Sector.
( Maximum of 5 Anglers per Sector )

TPSA Membership 2021:
Membership Fee : R 250.00

Must be paid by the end of April 2021. To participate in any competition to win – You must be a member.

No winnings will be paid out if you did not pay for your Membership.
The Membership Fee will go directly to the Final Jackpot

Saturday Competition & Sunday Fish-off Days : 

  Saturday Competition :
  Saturday is a normal Competition in all Sectors.

  Sunday Fish-off :
Sunday Fish-off as follows
  Sector A
  
Winners from all Sectors in Saturday’s
Competition to Participate in Sunday’s Fish-off in
Sector A.

  Sector B
  All 2nd Place Anglers from all Sectors in Saturday’s
Competition to Participate in Sunday’s Fish-off in
Sector B. 

  Sector C
  All 3rd Place Anglers from all Sectors in Saturday’s
Competition to Participate in Sunday’s Fish-off in
Sector C. 

  Sector D
  All 4th Place Anglers from all Sectors in Saturday’s
Competition to Participate in Sunday’s Fish-off in
Sector D. 

  Sector E
  All 5th Place Anglers from all Sectors on Saturday’s
Competition to Participate 
in Sunday’s Fish-off in 
Sector E. 

One Day Participation:
Due to work or Personal reasons – Some Anglers might only participate on a Saturday or a Sunday. Saturday Competition will be a normal Competition day.

However with an Angler that only participates on a Sunday the Angler will only start participating in the Last Sector of the day with Normal registration of R 300.00 per event.

If an Sunday Angler wins his Sector twice in a row he can move up to the next Sector. If an Sunday Angler does not win his sector and returns the next Competition on a Sunday, he will compete in the Sector the same as his penalty point achieved and restart the norm. 

 Winnings will be paid out as follow

Saturday : R 400.00 Only
Sunday : Winnings 70 % to Angler & 30% to Final Jackpot

 Penalty Points:

The Angler receives “Penalty Points” equivalent to the position
he finishes in his Sector. 

If the Angler is 2nd in his sector for the day, he receives 2 Penalty Points.

Overall Penalty points get calculated for the competition and the Angler
with the lowest amount of Penalty Points is the winner.

If two or more Anglers have the same amount of Penalty Points,
The Angler’s Weight of his fish determines ranking Position.

Example:
Angler A
Saturday 2nd – Weight of 12.00kg
Sunday 2nd – Weight of 6.00kg

Angler B 
Saturday 1st – Weight of 10.00kg
Sunday 3rd – Weight of 3.00kg

Angler C
Saturday 3rd – Weight of 2.00kg
Sunday 1st – Weight of 26.00kg

All three Anglers have a Final Penalty Point of 4
Angler C Will be the Winner because of his Overall Weight of 28.00 kg
followed by Angler A with 
an overall weight of  18.00 kg
and then Angler B with 
an overall weight of 13.00kg

Ranking List: 

Ranking List – Points will work as follow

3rd = 3 Points
4th = 4 Points
5th = 5 Points
6th = 6 Points

Absent on any day will be a “6” Points Penalty on the Ranking List.

Payouts:

WINNINGS WILL BE PAID OUT DIRECTLY TO WINNER VIA
BANK TRANSFER WITHIN 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER COMPETITION.

NO WINNINGS WILL BE KEPT ON ACCOUNT
OR FOR THE NEXT COMPETITION.

Final:

The Final Event will be hosted over a 2 Day Period.
Points allocation as per FIPSED Calculations. 

To qualify an Angler must at least have competed in
6 TPSA Events in the Year 2021.
Only the TOP 25 on the Ranking List will Qualify.
